Elite-clothes.com

•September 14, 2008 • 2 Comments

Finally this site was finished too.
it is based on Zen Cart Shopping. I had to switch from Oscommerce to zen cart after i saw it is too complicated and messy for a novice client.

They sell different types of clothes and boots and trainers.
we started by adding 60 items but then end up with 500 items to show.
i need to move on to my next site which is www.Nimkat.co.uk
This is a Persian Restaurant based in Bounds Green. Their food and service is very good. They cook Persian Kebab or Chello kebab with Persian style. This is not the type of my web design. i never put music and these kind of thing in a professional site. it was requested by the Client. what ever they want i do for them as long as i can keep them happy
it has a very nice and friendly Environment

FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!

•September 8, 2008 • 2 Comments

yes todAY i struggled to make it work while my php global was off and server was not turning it on.
i used this file to over come the oscommerce problem .
Just unzip it. and upload the files to server. everyyhing should be fine.
BUT if you want my opinion go for Zencart as it is very easy to use and install.
at least you dont have to spend time for bits and pieces. and you can focus on what is reaaly need to be done.

Cracking MySQL Passwords

•September 7, 2008 • 2 Comments

So did you forgot your MySQL password?
but don’t want to change it?
or You are a hacker and want to crack for bad purposes?!
hummm… Let’s get the hashes from the MySQL database and then grab poc, it will crack ‘em for you.
MySQL user accounts are listed in the user table of the mysql database. Each MySQL account is assigned a password, although what is stored in the Password column of the user table is not the plaintext version of the password, but a hash value computed from it. Password hash values are computed by the PASSWORD() function.

MySQL uses passwords in two phases of client/server communication:

* When a client attempts to connect to the server, there is an initial authentication step in which the client must present a password that has a hash value matching the hash value stored in the user table for the account that the client wants to use.
* After the client connects, it can (if it has sufficient privileges) set or change the password hashes for accounts listed in the user table. The client can do this by using the PASSWORD() function to generate a password hash, or by using the GRANT or SET PASSWORD statements.

In other words, the server uses hash values during authentication when a client first attempts to connect. The server generates hash values if a connected client invokes the PASSWORD() function or uses a GRANT or SET PASSWORD statement to set or change a password.

Windows Vista Password reset simple easy

•August 14, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Here is the easiest method to reset a Vista password when you dont know or forget it.
You need to have:
1)Blank CD 2)Nero (or whatever) 3) acopy of ISO file from here:
Ophcrack is the name of a project for password crack and recovery.
you need to download the live cd for windows vista or XP
then you need to burn it with Nero burning software or any burning program in a cd.
Then reboot your computer and Start the system with the CD.
it is a Linux based system,
evey thing is automatic.
If the password is a word or some thing common it will show it within seconds.
Live cd Illshare.wordpress.com
if the password is longg and strong it takes about 5 to 15 minutes depending on the speed of your CD rom and CPU.
it can recover about 80% of time.

How to resset administrator password MAC OS X

•June 1, 2008 • 49 Comments

recently i sold a power book G4 apple to a customer.
he came back couple of days later saying that the power book G4 asking for administration password from last owener.
so as i was not to get in touch with the last owner i had to by pass it.
Apple
i googled around and found some ways.

1) in apple official web site saying to use the Mac OS dvd which comes with the machine to boot from and then reset the pass .. ( for some reason i didnt have dvd of it.)

2) changing the root password (currect admin) from user single mode.
i tried that one too. for some reason it didnt work. as u see it is about 26 pages of comments from poeple saying that it is not working on some versions.

i put time and read most of the comments and problems. but could not get any thing usufull unfortunatly. and then i found the answer from some other site.

BUT HERE IS THE BEST WAY AND EASIEST
3) Creating a new Admin on Mac Os X:
Here’s how to reset your OS X password without an OS X CD.
the Working solution for me was to create a new admin
you can create new admin like this by deleting a specific file.

You need to enter terminal and create a new admin account:

1. Reboot
2. Hold apple + s down after you hear the chime.
3. When you get text prompt enter in these terminal commands to create a brand new admin account (hitting return after each line):
* mount -uw /
* rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
* shutdown -h now
4. After rebooting you should have a brand new admin account. When you login as the new admin you can simply delete the old one and you’re good to go again!

Apple stores wont reset it for you. Computer shops may charge you $50 to $200 trying to reinstall the Mac and failing at end.
This tutorial is FREE. Here is all about you.

if it worked for you i think it deserves a comment at least, i would be very encouraged.
